As the title suggests, I am actually Lily. I'll be playing Codi here. I decided to post and introduction because I'm really excited to be playing but I think we all need to introduce ourselves and maybe in doing so we can start coming up with plot bunnies to play once we get into the swing of things. I've been a roleplayer for like, too damn long. We'll say maybe about ten years now. I've grown a lot over that course of time and find myself to really enjoy well developed characters and not just from myself but from others playing around me. I play both male and female characters, and typically play more than one character. But, as I am at a rather busy point in my life, I've decided to narrow that down to one. I enjoy drawing and doodling, even though, at this busy time, I'm finding it hard to MAKE time to draw anything good. Let me get to know you guys though, so we can start planning out rough ideas for plots to play through.

Pleasure to meet you, Lily. I'm A Veteran of the Academy Roleplay here. You can call me whatever you wish.

Ben seems the appropriate moniker. As it'll probably be all I remember. I confess to being terrible with names, hence half my friends have been renamed by me several times. I call most people Hon when I don't remember their names. Everyone is "hon" and "dear" and "darling" and "ducky" to me as soon as I consider their association with me to be a genuine relationship.
I've been a long time roleplayer too, but I find that I can be very stubborn about some things. I've been an admin on boards hundreds of times so it's hard, reminding myself that I'm not a mod or admin here so I when if I see an board typo I go "Oh I better fix that for the admin... wait... shit."
Warning, about my character Codi, she's going to seem really brash and nasty and poorly behaved. Especially initially. When I develop characters I do so around a fault. Codi's being her poor socialization and her innate stubbornness. I do this with all my characters because it provides them with something to grow out of slowly over the course of the story. I've been in roleplays before where people, after meeting one of my more brash characters, decided they didn't like playing with me because of my character's behavior before I could even explain to them that my character is not a self insert and that she is brash because she needs to grow and develop. Nothing worse in a story than a static character right? So I thought I would give a heads up here. Codi is going to be pretty bad and awful in the beginning. Just remember. She has no friends, she's very self conscious about being not only the tallest girl in school, but the tallest student so far period, she does not feel comfortable around so many people and she misses her parents something horrible. Her initial horrible behavior will be lashing out as part of these feelings. As she gets friends and becomes more comfortable and socialized she'll become better, and nicer, and friendlier and more approachable.

Good to hear. I tend to suffer from one fault, and one alone. I tend to write as if my Characters autohit. I know, terrible flaw, but I'm slowly working on it. It's definately not my intention, I just have little experience writing in combat.

Well, if you keep a good attitude about it and don't feel it's an attack on your skill if someone asks you to edit, then I think we can play together just fine. I'd never ask you to edit something unless it really was hard to reply to or autohit. While Ben might have some super strength I figure Codi probably exceeds him in that area because it's her own power.

Yep, Quite possibly. Ben's strength is solely so he can keep his physical form together while an arm turns to, Say, Gold, or something. It's about the same level of strength you'd expect a champion weightlifter to have, not a mutant ability.

Yeah, Codi can lift shit like trees and cars and stuff that you wouldn't expect a human to be able to bench. But that's all she has. No shape shifting, none of the rest of that stuff. Though I do imagine she'd pick on Ben for making a golden arm. "What'er you going to do with that? Pimp slap somebody? If it was steel or iron I'd be a little scared but gold? Oooooh, looks like we got a badass up in here. *sarcasm*"
